Dr. Nik Sethi is a Director at Elevate and the current President of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (BAAD). This leadership role reflects his dedication to advancing clinical excellence and fostering innovation in modern dentistry. Nik is passionate about education, mentoring clinicians across the UK and Europe, empowering them to build confidence in advanced techniques, and helping them elevate the quality of care they provide.
He holds a Master’s in Aesthetic Dentistry from King’s College London and the prestigious Membership in Advanced General Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons. In 2019, Nik was recognised as a finalist for Best Young Dentist London at the Private Dentistry Awards, further cementing his status as a leader in the field.
Nik co-founded Elevate in 2020, a leading education platform that supports dentists in refining their clinical expertise and accessing evidence-based training. As a Key Opinion Leader for multiple dental companies, he contributes to the development and improvement of dental materials and techniques, helping shape the future of dental practice.
Whether through his leadership role at BAAD, mentoring through Elevate, or ongoing clinical work, Nik is committed to advancing the dental profession and ensuring that the next generation of clinicians is equipped to meet the challenges of modern dentistry.
Dr. Sanjay Sethi graduated from Guy’s Hospital in 1993 with a BDS degree and has since built a respected career in aesthetic and implant dentistry. Practicing in his London-based clinic, he specializes in advanced dental aesthetics and implantology, offering exceptional patient care. His expertise has made him a sought-after professional in both clinical and educational settings.
Dr. Sethi is a passionate advocate for dental education, having lectured nationally and internationally. He is a full member and Past President of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (BAAD), and an active member of both the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) and the Implant Dentistry Academy (ADI). His contributions to the global dental community continue to shape the future of the field.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Sethi is dedicated to mentoring dental professionals through independent courses and diploma programs. His hands-on teaching approach focuses on bridging the gap between theory and practice, enhancing both clinical skills and patient care.
As director of the Aesethix and Elevate education programs, Dr. Sethi provides cutting-edge training that empowers dental professionals to enhance their skills and excel in modern dental practice. His mentorship helps practitioners grow their careers and deliver outstanding results for their patients.
Prof. Riaz Yar graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1999 and completed his specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University of Manchester in 2011. He is an Internal Examiner for the Membership of Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons, England, and a respected figure in restorative dentistry.
In addition to his specialty training, Prof. Yar holds a Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies from the University of Bristol and a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. These qualifications enable him to provide exceptional care and expertise to his patients.
Prof. Yar lectures nationally and internationally, with a focus on Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) and Occlusion. He has recently completed his Masters in Soft Tissue Around Implants and Teeth under Professor Zucchelli in Bologna and is finishing his Postgraduate Certificate in Education. He also serves as a Visiting Professor in Prosthodontics at the College of Medicine and Dentistry – Birmingham / Ulster University.
His commitment to both clinical practice and dental education ensures that Prof. Yar remains at the forefront of prosthodontic care and continues to shape the future of dental professionals.
Elaine graduated from Barts and The London Hospital and has since honed her skills through extensive postgraduate and international education. As a dedicated lifelong learner, she firmly believes in maintaining state-of-the-art knowledge to ensure the highest standard of care for her patients.
As an advanced general dental practitioner, Elaine has earned her MADGS with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, allowing her to focus the majority of her practice on Orthodontic and Restorative Dentistry. Her expertise in these areas, combined with a passion for delivering exceptional results, has made her a sought-after practitioner.
In addition to her clinical work, Elaine is heavily involved in dental education. She is a valued member of the Elevate Dental Education faculty and teaches extensively in various other dental programs. Elaine’s commitment to advancing the field extends beyond teaching, as she holds several influential roles within the dental community. She serves on the UK Clinical Advisory Board for Align Technology, holds a Full Member ExCo role for the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, and is the UK National Director for Dentinal Tubules, a global community for dental professionals.
